Another day, another pound

Well, I'm down another pound this morning, 252.6. It's great to still be losing weight on a program, it's been the most successful thing I've ever done to lose weight.

We are excited as a few friends have decided to join us and lose weight! This really works.

Life is getting better as time passes. Now instead of the kids challenging me to a race, I'm doing it to the kids. Also it's nice to be able to run and jump without joints hurting.

Well, it's a beautiful day here. Gotta run!

Good times

This is getting more exciting each day. Today I'll be sitting on a scholarship board, and being the end of the week, most of my clothes are in the laundry. So I decided to start looking through my skinnier clothes and found some that haven't been worn in at least two years. It is so exciting to finally be getting into some old clothes and hopefully get out of the newer fat clothes.

The scale said I was down about another pounds, 253.8.

Holding steady

Just really quickly, I've stayed the same from yesterday. My body is still adjusting from the long hike. Still at 254.4. Gotta run.

Busy, busy, busy

Sorry for not getting another post up so soon. It was a very busy weekend for us and an exciting one too!

We had two tasting events where we invited people to com look at the program. We had a few people show up to each one and a few people decided to join us! We are excited to help other people look weight and get healthy.

For us personally it was very exciting. We went on a short difficult hike to the top of my parents property that overlooks the valley. Just two months ago I would have passed up the opportunity without giving it another though. Last weekend we decided to try it. I was able to keep up, have energy, and not feel like my heart wasn't going to jump out of my chest.

Also, for the first time in years I put on an XL shirt. Just 2 months ago I was at the point of having to start getting XXXL shirts and new larger pants. Now my clothes are falling off of me, my belt needs to to have another hole cut in it, and I am able to wear my old skinnier clothes.

The scales said 254.4. I've leveled out temporarily, probably because of the long hike. On Saturday we exerted a lot of energy to climb up the hill, my body said, "Wait, I'm suddenly needing a lot of energy, I need to hold on to everything that I can in case I have to work this hard everyday." Probably in a few days my weight will drop significantly as my body settles down.
